Burn Co. BBQ

Another BBQC for the books was held in our offices last Thursday. Yes, you read that right. We hauled pound after pound of meat into our downtown Tulsa office and invited all of you to come and judge (the BBQ of course, although we thank you for the compliments on the office).

By this time of summer we imagined most of our client’s taste buds were in tip top shape for BBQ judging due to weekend after weekend of the stuff. That said, our gut instincts told us that Burn Co. BBQ would serve a memorable experience and set it apart from your run of the mill grill fare.  And what could be more memorable than a succulent dish that dishes meat rolled in meat and then….well, you guessed it, rolled in meat. We all met “the fatty” last Thursday and have barely lived bragged to tell the tale. It definitely made an impression on us all, as well as the rest of their delicious spread.

Between the bacon explosion and the explosive crowd, we have to admit it was one of are most favorite events yet. Taking into account your raving reviews and high scoring, it’s pretty clear you did too. Burn Co's Ribs scored an impressive 88/90 but was trumped by "The Fatty" with a score of 89/90. The majority of you raved about the pork's tenderness, and a few of you gave a few nods to the beans. The brisket sat happily with a score of 79/90.

Pitch & Putt

Golf. A sport filled with lush greens, breezy fairways, and of course…loads of complaints and excuses. Who can blame us though? It’s not exactly easy to commit to a four hour affair away from the office/home/family right? I suppose that is why it is the sport of the pros or the retired.
However, here at Inceed we refuse to let our clients sink into the everyday doldrums and instead challenge you to find an excuse not to come and golf with us. Here’s our proposal: We cut the time in half, provide short game instruction, and get you out on the course all on your lunch hour! Worried about a growling stomach? We provide an ease to that too.
I think that covers the excuse bases now right? Do I have you intrigued? Good. Because this event will be happening every Wednesday until the weather becomes unbearable and our clubs slip out of our grips. Don’t worry, we don’t count THAT one as an excuse. We lived through last summer too.
Since we know you are on tight a tight schedule, and well we are stealing an hour or so midweek already, we will keep it short and sweet with the details. We will email you each week to inform the location of the practice and mid week golf therapy.
inceed PITCH & PUTT
11:30-1:00
Bring your putter and pitching wedge
Locations TBA
If all the brilliant persuasion above did not make a dent bigger than our chips on to the green, let the photos convince you! This week’s Pitch & Putt was held at Lafortune Park, a well spent lunch hour with inceed indeed.
Thanks to all of our clients that attended…I fear we might have some growing competition in the upcoming scramble!
golfing on the lunch hour. small step for the retired, one giant leap for our kind.

I know I’m getting better at golf because I’m hitting fewer spectators...
After Chuck got his two bits, or rather too long, advice on stance/pace/etc/etc we were allowed to put our newly acquired knowledge to the test.

The reason the pro tells you to keep your head down is so you can’t see him laughing.

If you watch a game, it’s fun. If you play at it, it’s recreation. If you work at it, it’s golf.

If you think it’s hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

This ain't no putt putt course boys...

We look forward to seeing everyone next Wednesday!!

Inceed 2012 Masters & BBQC

From the Pros...

The Masters tradition no longer extends to just the greens of Augusta. Over the last three years Inceed's Masters Tournament & BBQC has landmarked its own traditions of green jackets and green courses. And while Inceed's caliber of contestants may not rival Bubba's hook swing, a wise client of ours brilliantly noted last tournament that “A bad day of golf beats a good day of work."

...to OUR Masters

Inceed's 2012 Masters Tournament proved to be competitive and full of camaraderie from the early mid morning BBQ. Mouth watering meats were served up from the award winning smoker, contests were won from the tips and tidbits of GolfTech's Pat Riley, and networking away from the ruse of everyday distraction proved to be at its finest.

We could continue to brag and boast on the success of this year’s tournament but as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and we have more than a few to share with you.

So thanks to all our fabulous clients that joined us this year and congrats to those sporting your hard earned green coat!
The Competition Inceed Smoker!

Our "gallery" may have been houses but we still put on a show worth watching!

There were plenty of prizes to win even if you didn't take home the green jacket!

Winners sporting new green additions to their wardrobe!

We look forward to seeing all of you at the next BBQC!
