Back Alley Tally

What did everyone think of the new Que?!
Great turnout for our first trip to Back Alley BBQ and Blues. Thanks to all of you that braved the weather. After some careful counting, the Back Alley tally is in…

Scores are calculated in terms of percentages – total points over total points possible. Ribs and brisket faired the best in the meat category, but the beans controlled the leader board occupying 2 of the top 3 percentage scores. If ranking them on tenderness made sense, I’m confident the beans would have taken home the Triple Crown. One BBQC member ranked the beans a TEN! As most of you know, the quality rating only goes to 9. Thanks for the chuckle, Unanimous BBQC Member.

Alley Tally:
1st place – Beans Taste
2nd place – Beans Appearance
3rd place – Ribs Tenderness
Please mark your calendars for our Annual Masters Event on April 11th. More details to come on that.

inceed BBQC - Knotty Pine

One thing is for certain, we all got to know each other a little better. There’s nothing like 50 people in a room chowing down on 50 lbs. of assorted meats. Thank you all for attending our first BBQC Event of the New Year. Let us apologize for all the resolutions we may have jeopardized that day. Just when your belly is getting back to normal…PA-POW…BBQC happens. Hats off to the staff at Knotty Pine. The crew and staff was a pleasure to work with.

For those of you that remain curious about the trophies traveling around, those were claimed by our Fantasy Football 1st Place Winners. Not only did they receive an over sized trophy with their name on it, but a replica NFL jersey of their choice or $100 gift card to match. Great turn out this season. Can’t wait to do compete again next season. Ask your Account Manager on how to get involved.

According to my excel skills and your voting, the meat category that received the most love was the tenderness of the ribs with the appearance and tenderness of the chicken coming in a close 2nd. The BBQC truly appreciates all the feedback. It plays a big factor in our decision making for future events. Here’s to a successful 2013 for everyone. See you at the next one!
